A Proper Gander At Propaganda

Truth Transcends Community

"Then a mighty strange thing happened.  Guess you could call it fate. You see, a gust of wind blew the picture frame down and it landed on the muckety-muck's head And the mice they all went crazy. For the first time they saw the lie.

It was all a hoax on just simple folks. And the muckety-muck must die. And die he did. The members of his staff they just fled. They were scared. Hah. Just not prepared." - Song: The Proper Gander. Songwriter: Bobby Darin

"Propaganda in the United States is spread by both government and media entities. Propaganda is information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to influence opinions. It's used in advertising, radio, newspaper, posters, books, television, and other media."  -  Propaganda in the United States - Wikipedia

A Silk Road Tangent: A Modern Mythic Yellow Journal Underdog

FYI: "The Dread Pirate Roberts/Silk Road" News story reads like scripted fiction to me. It looks like a soap operatic warning. The narrative is that he was running the Silk Road website from a laptop without a fixed location and permanent ip address which seems odd. There are other tabloid details that indicate this story is another unverifiable media hoax. The story is still valid (in a certain context) as it illustrates the power the state really does have over human imagination. Huge media covered trials would seem to have to be scripted theater that attempts to alter human behavior by providing impetus for crafting new laws. Governments not only rely on the criminal "justice" system, but they also rely on us policing each other and ourselves. Government really is mind control.
