A Proper Gander At Propaganda

Truth Transcends Community

It's used in advertising, radio, newspaper, posters, books, television, and other media."  -  Propaganda in the United States - Wikipedia

CalcifiedLies: Communication

Thinking About Reality

This is pretty good.

Communication  source: CalcifiedLies

Some Thoughts:

Are you inside or outside your body? What if  neither of those words or ideas really apply in an absolute sense? Words are human tools and language is limited. In my opinion it is very difficult to verbally communicate profound truth with words alone. I don't believe language was purposefully constructed to make communication difficult, I simply think that there are logical and natural limits to verbal language. In fact even ideas are limited. Human beings are imperfect creatures despite the fact we know we are self aware and know we are going to die. We do not usually mentally exist in the proverbial moment like animals do. Our consciousness clearly is a doubled edged sword.

All is One & One is All:

I think the absolute truth transcendent of all pairs of opposites.

I don't think there is a "they" who create the system. There is no great conspiracy. There really is just all of us. We do this all to each other. We are each other's mental wardens and prison guards whether we know it or not. Most of us want government and it's been this way for a long time; perhaps it's been this way "forever", for all we know.

None of us are perfect Most human beings tend to just go along with the system and this would seem to be true regardless of one's social standing. Most human beings are followers and are not very mentally self reliant. Humans copy each other's behavior without noticing it. Not everyone on YouTube is a dis-info agent, of course. This is just what human nature looks like. I don't think things are as contrived as they might seem at times. There is no "they" that want us on the eternal emotional roller coaster, there is only us. In many ways the system runs itself and human beings like the ride; social programming is more of a natural expression of human nature than top down contrivance. We might naturally sort ourselves into social forms and most of us seem to seek shepherds to lead us somewhere we do not really need to go. The system is in no danger from anyone online.

Government itself might be as natural as human beings are.

Keep in mind I am not claiming there are no government dis-info agents; what I think is that they are playing a game whether they know it or not. I think it's all part of the Military construct and Rand Corporation style military sim the government uses to keep some of its staff busy playing live action role playing games online. Even if most people found out NASA was a cartoon studio, the artificial world of industry would still keep steadily churning out new product. Most would buy into whatever explanation they were offered and would get ready for the next holiday sale at the shopping mall. Most people seem to really want to believe in the power of government to "save the world". The News media is not going anywhere but online. There's not much that a few thousand people spread across the globe, can do to change that. All anyone can really do is self educate themselves and attempt to alter their more immediate and local world in some minor manner. There might always be the same ratio of shepherd to sheep and that might be a Natural principle.

There are all sorts of false divides we can get lost in that seem to get us to ignore the logic behind the Golden Rule.
