The Bible reinforces the feudal social order of Monarchy.
Kings and queens seem to be of a divinely created royal blue blood line and are above mortal law.

Kings Are Gods
"The state of monarchy is the supremest thing upon earth, for kings are not only God's lieutenants upon earth and sit upon God's throne, but even by God himself they are called gods. There be three principal [comparisons] that illustrate the state of monarchy: one taken out of the word of God, and the two other out of the grounds of policy and philosophy."
"In the Scriptures kings are called gods, and so their power after a certain relation compared to the Divine power. Kings are also compared to fathers of families; for a king is truly parens patriae [parent of the country], the politic father of his people. And lastly, kings are compared to the head of this microcosm of the body of man."
Is The Queen Above The Law?
"Indeed, Her Majesty has never been in a position where her legal standing is in question, specifically because there can be no question. Regardless of what The Queen does, it can’t be declared illegal."
King James Had His Own Divinely Inspired Guide Book
"The newly crowned King James convened the Hampton Court Conference in 1604. That gathering proposed a new English version in response to the perceived problems of earlier translations as detected by the Puritan faction of the Church of England. Here are three examples of problems the Puritans perceived with the Bishops and Great Bibles:
First, Galatians iv. 25 (from the Bishops' Bible). The Greek word susoichei is not well translated as now it is, bordereth neither expressing the force of the word, nor the apostle's sense, nor the situation of the place. Secondly, psalm cv. 28 (from the Great Bible), 'They were not obedient;' the original being, 'They were not disobedient.' Thirdly, psalm cvi. 30 (also from the Great Bible), 'Then stood up Phinees and prayed,' the Hebrew hath, 'executed judgment.'
Instructions were given to the translators that were intended to limit the Puritan influence on this new translation. The Bishop of London added a qualification that the translators would add no marginal notes (which had been an issue in the Geneva Bible). King James cited two passages in the Geneva translation where he found the marginal notes offensive to the principles of divinely ordained royal supremacy : Exodus 1:19, where the Geneva Bible notes had commended the example of civil disobedience to the Egyptian Pharaoh showed by the Hebrew midwives, and also II Chronicles 15:16, where the Geneva Bible had criticized King Asa for not having executed his idolatrous 'mother', Queen Maachah (Maachah had actually been Asa's grandmother, but James considered the Geneva Bible reference as sanctioning the execution of his own mother Mary, Queen of Scots). Further, the King gave the translators instructions designed to guarantee that the new version would conform to the ecclesiology of the Church of England. Certain Greek and Hebrew words were to be translated in a manner that reflected the traditional usage of the church. For example, old ecclesiastical words such as the word "church" were to be retained and not to be translated as "congregation". The new translation would reflect the episcopal structure of the Church of England and traditional beliefs about ordained clergy.
James' instructions included several requirements that kept the new translation familiar to its listeners and readers. The text of the Bishops' Bible would serve as the primary guide for the translators, and the familiar proper names of the biblical characters would all be retained. If the Bishops' Bible was deemed problematic in any situation, the translators were permitted to consult other translations from a pre-approved list: the Tyndale Bible, the Coverdale Bible, Matthew's Bible, the Great Bible, and the Geneva Bible. In addition, later scholars have detected an influence on the Authorized Version from the translations of Taverner's Bible and the New Testament of the Douay–Rheims Bible. It is for this reason that the flyleaf of most printings of the Authorized Version observes that the text had been "translated out of the original tongues, and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by His Majesty's special commandment." As the work proceeded, more detailed rules were adopted as to how variant and uncertain readings in the Hebrew and Greek source texts should be indicated, including the requirement that words supplied in English to 'complete the meaning' of the originals should be printed in a different type face."
Kings & Queens Are The Popes of The Church Of England
"The Church of England (C of E) is the state church of England. The Archbishop of Canterbury (currently Justin Welby) is the most senior cleric, although the monarch is the supreme governor. The Church of England is also the mother church of the international Anglican Communion. It dates its establishment as a national church to the 6th-century Gregorian mission to Kent led by Augustine of Canterbury."
The Queen of England Is Related To Biblical King David, Or So The Story Goes...
"Our present Queen, Queen Elizabeth, is a direct descendant of King David of the Old Testament."
"In the New Testament, both Matthew and Luke trace Jesus’ lineage to David (Matt 1:6, Luke 3:31)."
"Matthew emphasizes, right from the beginning, Jesus' title Christ—the Greek rendering of the Hebrew title Messiah—meaning anointed, in the sense of an anointed king. Jesus is presented as the long-awaited Messiah, who was expected to be a descendant of King David. Matthew begins by calling Jesus the son of David, indicating his royal origin, and also son of Abraham, indicating that he was a Jew; both are stock phrases, in which son means descendant, calling to mind the promises God made to David and to Abraham."

"Charles Fox Parham 1873-1929 - American Pentecostal Pioneer, Pastor and Prolific Author Confirms the Truth of God's Word in Tracing the Biblical, Genetic Connection of the Royalty of Great Britain to the Throne of King David"
"Of all the spiritual revivals that have taken place on the American Continent, none has been so influential, far- reaching and enduring as the Pentecostal Spirit-outpouring of the early 20th century. There were earlier revivals such as the mid-eighteenth century First Great Awakening of New England and the Second Great Awakening of the Midwest at the turn of the nineteenth century. They helped to preserve the moral and spiritual standards of Biblical Christianity in the American people in preparation of greater things to come. One of the most phenomenal and sovereign spiritual awakenings ever to occur in American history is the spiritual revival which took place among the Southern Army during the war years of 1861-1865. The fruits of this revival eventually spawned the establishment, growth and expansion of more churches, Bible schools, camp meetings and evangelistic efforts than any previous revival. As a natural result, this created the perfect climate for the Holiness revival which was soon to follow in the 1880's and 1890's. These revivals of the past were not the only thing that God had in store for the Body of Christ that would revolutionize the lives of millions, both at home and abroad."
"QUEEN VICTORIA’S DESCENT FROM ADAM"
"The following genealogy was first studied by Rev. F. R. A. Glover, M.A., of London, in 1861, but no depths of facts were reached, when others took it up, until Mr. J. C. Stevens, of Liverpool, compiled this evidence which resulted in bringing to light the wonderful fact that God has proved His oath to David that he would never want for an heir to sit on the throne, and infidelity is nonplused."
"From this royal princess, we obtain, then, a direct and unbroken line of ancestry to King Fergus, who went from Ireland to reign as king of Scotland; and from King Fergus I. Of Scotland we get the same unbroken line to the time of King James of Scotland, who himself became king of England; and from King James we get the same unbroken line to our beloved Queen, she being, then, the seed royal to King David’s house, and therefore the royal seed of King David; she is, and must be, the ruling monarch over the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel."
The Messiah Is King
"In the Book of Ezekiel in the Hebrew Bible, New Jerusalem (יְהוָה שָׁמָּה, Jehovah-shammah, or "[where] YHWH [is] there") is Ezekiel's prophetic vision of a city centered on the rebuilt Holy Temple, the Third Temple, to be established in Jerusalem, which would be the capital of the Messianic Kingdom, the meeting place of the twelve tribes of Israel, during the Messianic era. The prophecy is recorded by Ezekiel as having been received on Yom Kippur of the year 3372 of the Hebrew calendar. It will be inhabited by people to live eternally in spirit form, created by God as a gift to mankind. Not everyone will reside in New Jerusalem, as most will possibly stay on Earth."
"In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament, the city is also called the Heavenly Jerusalem, as well as being called Zion in other books of the Christian Bible."
"Judaism sees the Messiah as a human male descendant of King David who will be anointed as the king of Israel and sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem. He will gather in the lost tribes of Israel, clarify unresolved issues of halakha, and rebuild the Holy Temple in Jerusalem according to the pattern shown to the prophet Ezekiel. During this time Jews believe an era of global peace and prosperity will be initiated, the nations will love Israel and will abandon their gods, turn toward Jerusalem, and come to the Holy Temple to worship the one God of Israel. Zechariah prophesied that any family among the nations who does not appear in the Temple in Jerusalem for the festival of Sukkoth will have no rain that year. Isaiah prophesied that the rebuilt Temple will be a house of prayer for all nations. The city of YHWH Shamma, the new Jerusalem, will be the gathering point of the world's nations, and will serve as the capital of the renewed Kingdom of Israel. Ezekiel prophesied that this city will have 12 gates, one gate for each of the tribes of Israel. The book of Isaiah closes with the prophecy "And it will come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says YHWH"."
Lost Tribes & New Jerusalem
"Richard Brothers, the originator of British Israelism, developed a viewpoint that the British are descended from the Lost Tribes of Israel, and that the capital city of Britain should therefore be re-modeled as a New Jerusalem for the coming Age of Enlightenment. Supposedly this idea was already present in 6th Century England, and that it reached its height of influence during and just after the First World War; certain buildings, such as St Paul's Cathedral, supposedly contain elements of the plan in their design."
Royalty Is Above All Mortal Law
"The divine right of kings, divine right, or God's mandate is a political and religious doctrine of royal and political legitimacy. It asserts that a monarch is subject to no earthly authority, deriving the right to rule directly from the will of God. The king is thus not subject to the will of his people, the aristocracy, or any other estate of the realm. It implies that only God can judge an unjust king and that any attempt to depose, dethrone or restrict his powers runs contrary to the will of God and may constitute a sacrilegious act. It is often expressed in the phrase "by the Grace of God", attached to the titles of a reigning monarch."
"The Scots textbooks of the divine right of kings were written in 1597–98 by James VI of Scotland before his accession to the English throne. His Basilikon Doron, a manual on the powers of a king, was written to edify his four-year-old son Henry Frederick that a king "acknowledgeth himself ordained for his people, having received from the God a burden of government, whereof he must be countable."
James I based his theories in part on his understanding of the Bible.
The state of monarchy is the supremest thing upon earth, for kings are not only God's lieutenants upon earth and sit upon God's throne, but even by God himself they are called gods. There be three principal [comparisons] that illustrate the state of monarchy: one taken out of the word of God, and the two other out of the grounds of policy and philosophy. In the Scriptures kings are called gods, and so their power after a certain relation compared to the Divine power. Kings are also compared to fathers of families; for a king is truly parens patriae [parent of the country], the politic father of his people. And lastly, kings are compared to the head of this microcosm of the body of man.
James's reference to "God's lieutenants" is apparently a reference to the text in Romans 13 where Paul refers to "God's ministers".
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honor."
"To make it absolutely clear: The Queen (or the reigning Monarch) is above the law. It has been like this for centuries and remains true and practicable today."
The King VS The Pope
"After the Gunpowder Plot, James sanctioned harsh measures to control non-conforming English Catholics. In May 1606, Parliament passed the Popish Recusants Act, which could require any citizen to take an Oath of Allegiance denying the Pope's authority over the king. James was conciliatory towards Catholics who took the Oath of Allegiance, and tolerated crypto-Catholicism even at court.[j] Henry Howard, for example, was a crypto-Catholic, received back into the Catholic Church in his final months. On ascending the English throne, James suspected that he might need the support of Catholics in England, so he assured the Earl of Northumberland, a prominent sympathiser of the old religion, that he would not persecute "any that will be quiet and give but an outward obedience to the law".
In the Millenary Petition of 1603, the Puritan clergy demanded the abolition of confirmation, wedding rings, and the term "priest", among other things, and that the wearing of cap and surplice become optional. James was strict in enforcing conformity at first, inducing a sense of persecution amongst many Puritans; but ejections and suspensions from livings became rarer as the reign continued. As a result of the Hampton Court Conference of 1604, a new translation and compilation of approved books of the Bible was commissioned to resolve discrepancies among different translations then being used. The Authorized King James Version, as it came to be known, was completed in 1611 and is considered a masterpiece of Jacobean prose. It is still in widespread use.
In Scotland, James attempted to bring the Scottish kirk "so neir as can be" to the English church and to reestablish episcopacy, a policy that met with strong opposition from presbyterians.[k] James returned to Scotland in 1617 for the only time after his accession in England, in the hope of implementing Anglican ritual. James's bishops forced his Five Articles of Perth through a General Assembly the following year, but the rulings were widely resisted. James left the church in Scotland divided at his death, a source of future problems for his son."
The Anglo Israeli Empire Revelation:
"Anglo-Israelism has also been attributed to Sir Francis Drake and King James I, who believed he was the King of Israel."
"British Israelism (also called Anglo-Israelism) is a movement which holds the view that the people of England (or more broadly, the people of Great Britain) are "genetically, racially, and linguistically the direct descendants" of the Ten Lost Tribes of ancient Israel. With roots in the 16th century, British Israelism was inspired by several 19th-century English writings, notably John Wilson's 1840 Our Israelitish Origin. The movement never had a head organisation or a centralized structure. Various British Israelite organisations were set up throughout the British Empire as well as in America from the 1870s; a number of these organisations are still active today. In America, its ideas gave rise to the Christian Identity movement.
The central tenets of British Israelism have been refuted by evidence from modern archaeological, ethnological, genetic, and linguistic research."
"According to Brackney (2012) and Fine (2015), the French Hugenot magistrate M. le Loyer's The Ten Lost Tribes, published in 1590, provided the first expression that "Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Scandinavian, Germanic, and associated cultures" were direct descendants of the ancient Israelites. Anglo-Israelism has also been attributed to Sir Francis Drake and King James I, who believed he was the King of Israel. Adriaan van Schrieck (1560-1621), who influenced Henry Spelman (1562-1641) and John Sadler (1615-1674), wrote in the early 17th century about his ideas on the origins of the Celtic and Saxon peoples. In 1649, Sadler published The Rights of the Kingdom, "which argues for an 'Israelite genealogy for the British people'".
Aspects of British Israelism and influences have also been traced to Richard Brothers' A Revealed Knowledge of the Prophecies and Times in 1794, John Wilson's Our Israelitish Origin(1840s), and John Pym Yeatman's The Shemetic Origin of the Nations of Western Europe (1879).
British Israelism arose in England, then spread to the United States. British-Israelists cite various medieval manuscripts to claim an older origin, but British Israelism as a distinct movement appeared in the early 1880s:
Although scattered British Israel societies are known to have existed as early as 1872, there was at first no real move to develop an organization beyond the small groups of believers which had arisen spontaneously. The beginnings of the movement as an identifiable religious force can, therefore, be more accurately placed in the 1880's when the circumstances of the time were particularly propitious for the appearance of a movement so imperialistically-orientated."
"By the 1890s, the "Anglo-Israel Association" had 300 members; it was based in Britain and founded in 1879 by physician George Moore. Hine later departed for the United States where he promoted the idea.
The 1906 Jewish Encyclopedia stated that British Israelism's adherents "are said to number 2,000,000 in England and the United States", an unreliable figure if association membership and journal subscription numbers are any guide, though there would have been a broader, unmeasurable sympathy towards the views of the movement among Protestants globally"
"James I, Formerly James VI of Scotland—He was not powerful like Edward I, Henry VIII or Elizabeth I but God singled him out to play an important role in His Grand Plan."
"And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be a king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all” Ezekiel 37: 22"
"In my recent article in Thy Kingdom Come, “Monarchs of Destiny – King Edward I,” I suggested that Edward’s life should remind us of every man’s terrestrial struggle with shades of good and shades of evil. I also suggested that it was indeed sad that Edward didn’t quite understand the significance of his special role in God’s Celestial Sovereignty. King James I was different. He did seem to have an appreciation of his unique part in God’s Great Plan and as we shall see, his actions proved it. Yet, as we view his reign from a historical perspective, his earthly struggles were mind-boggling. This was a king placed on the Throne of David at a most significant point in time, yet, for as much as he achieved what God had intended, his stewardship was rife with self-indulgence.
Before ascending the throne, James I was James VI, King of Scotland. He was the only son of Mary, Queen of Scots and when she was beheaded for a plot against Elizabeth I, James became the legitimate heir. When Elizabeth died, James ascended the Throne of David, not without opposition, but through his ascendancy, he brought the warring nations of England and Scotland together into a single kingdom, as prophesied by the prophet Ezekiel centuries earlier (see Ezekiel 37: 22 above). Ironically, what the great King Edward I could not do by force was accomplished peacefully and orderly through the ascension of James I. Enemies became partners and foreign nations no longer had an ally in Scotland in their conflict with the English. This was important because at the time James became king, England was still technically at war with Spain. With Spain closely allied with the Holy Roman Empire and both being stirred up by the Papacy in their bid to counter the Reformation, the island kingdom was facing a huge potential threat. James I dealt with that threat in both statesmanlike and iniquitous ways.
Still, this was a king who knew his destiny. When he succeeded Elizabeth I in 1603, he claimed that God had made him king of Israel and had the statement “I will make them one nation” (from Ezekiel 37:22) inscribed on the reverse of a freshly minted coin, “The Unite.” He knew full well that the throne upon which he was sitting was an extension of the Throne of David. Other succeeding monarchs knew this as well, most notably Queen Victoria and King George VI, but sadly, in these days of the Esau Dominion, the truth is being concealed."
"God used James I in three other significant events. The most notable, of course, was the introduction of the King James Version of the Bible and here the king must be given full marks. What began as an offhand suggestion by a college president, i.e., that a new Bible version be produced, James I spearheaded as a righteous cause. Churchill wrote that James saw it as a way of “ridding the Scriptures of propaganda and producing a uniform version that could be entrusted to all.” For nearly 300 years from when it was introduced in 1611, no other versions were deemed necessary. Sadly, as true Israel found ourselves in the midst of the luke-warm Church of the Laodicea period and the great falling away prophesied by the Apostle Paul, new translations, most of which contain many incorrect changes in doctrine to fit society’s new reality, have been churned out with great regularity. Identity believers who understand the continuation of Israel’s Throne within the British monarchy should note that only the KJV was uniquely authorized from the throne.
A second achievement was the design of the Union Jack, a symbol of greatness since James I authorized its unfolding in 1606. The name “Union Jack” came from James I himself, the name “James” being “Jacobus” in Latin and “Jacob” in Hebrew. Thus, the flag symbolizes the Re-Union of Jacob. Like the coin and James I’s recognition of himself as “King of Israel”, the flag is meant to unveil the true identity of the peoples of the isles at a God appointed time. Isn’t it astonishing to see how the Lord God Almighty works? He selected that particular time in history, coupled it with that of the subsequent incorporation of the Cross of St. Patrick into the Union Jack, and then proceeded to reveal His Great Plan for His People Israel. Here in this incorporation of three flags, A.J. Ferris traces a magnificent destiny that was first outlined four thousand years ago. The National Flag of Scotland, i.e., “The Cross of St. Andrew,” is representative of the Abrahamic Covenant and the manner of that cross is emblematic of Jacob Israel with his arms crossed as he passed on the blessings of national greatness to Ephraim & Manasseh. The Cross of St. Patrick (Ireland) denotes the Old Covenant that Israel broke, resulting in a postponement of the blessings for 2,520 years and the need of a Savior to redeem them. The Cross of St. George, which Richard I of England introduced as the National Flag of England in 1194 represents the New Covenant of Redemption, which made it possible for Israel to become worthy rulers with God. Joined together, they form the Union Jack or Union Jacob. The great significance of this may not mean much to a present day society weaned on propaganda but the joining of the three flags into the Union Jack does denote the Re-Union of Israel, the nation God selected at Mount Sinai to rule with Him and be a blessing to the entire world.
The third significant event, created as a result of the policies of James I rather than anything inspirational was the founding of New England as 100 brave souls set out on the Mayflower and inspired the subsequent emigration to the New World."
"It is pretty hard to dispute the special role of James I in God’s Celestial Sovereignty. He might have gone down in history as one of England’s great kings had it not been for his terrestrial struggles. His extravagances and his contemptuous treatment of expressions of national grievances did nothing to endear himself to the people. The infamous Catholic inspired Gunpowder Plot, engineered by Guy Fawkes, occurred during his reign although this was more the result of James’ staunch support of the Elizabethan Church Settlement. He was not about to pledge allegiance to the Pope and the ire of all Catholics was stirred up by an unrelenting Papacy. Still, perhaps he tiptoed around the Catholic issue too much and it encouraged the Catholics to become too hopeful that their position might be restored. Then too, as Churchill wrote in Volume 2 of his “History of English Speaking Peoples”, James’ open attention to handsome young men resulted in a great loss of respect for his monarchy. Yet, all of these were petty compared to his concessions to Spain, concessions that created much consternation amongst his parliamentarians and subjects. The anger intensified when he authorized the execution of Sir Walter Raleigh, one of England’s best-loved explorers and a true favourite of Queen Elizabeth, simply to please the Spanish Government. This spineless act established a barrier between king and subjects that could never be overcome. Whether or not this action played any part in the subsequent overthrow and execution of his son, Charles I, James was a role model and likely Charles inherited much of the anger the people felt for James.
Still, James I was a monarch of destiny. He was the first King of Great Britain and his legacy still lives today, in the flag that still flies over many countries and in the tens of millions of Bibles in the homes of Israelites everywhere. God surely used this man of history to further His Wonderful Plan of the Ages."
The Lost Tribes of Israel
A Mythic Historical Tale Told: Losing A National Identity
The Lost Tribes of Israel Part 1 source: Éirinn Go Brách
"Published on Jul 1, 2017
The word Celt is the Anglicised form of the Greek word Keltoi, which means "the people who are different.*" In Scripture, all nations, except the Twelve Tribes of Israel, are referred to as Gentiles (Foreigners), so the only people who are different are Israel. The word Celt is therefore another word for Israelite. The Celts are part of the Ten "lost" Tribes of Israel; as are the Tuatha de Danaan and Milesians. The Irish people are a mixture of Celts; Danaans; Milesians; Judah/Zarahites (of the "Red Hand" - Genesis 38:28-30); (Dan-ish) Vikings and Norsemen and are all racially cousins.
Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou [art] an holy people unto the "I AM" thy God, and the "I AM" hath chosen thee to be a peculiar* people unto Himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth.
The Irish Celts held three sacred assemblies every year at Tara during Bealtaine; Lughnasadh and Samhain which assured an abundance of corn and milk; freedom from conquest; the enjoyment of Righteous Laws; comfort in every house; fruit in great abundance, and plenty of fish in their lakes, rivers, and estuaries, exactly as God guaranteed Israel in The Torah/Tara, if they kept The Covenant. Also, during the Feast of Tara/Torah the kings of Ireland used to settle the affairs of Ireland for seven years, so that debts, suits and adjustments used not to be submitted for judgement until the next feast, seven years later, which the Torah calls the 'Year of the "I AM's" Release'** when all debts were forgiven, every seven years. This proves that Irish Celtic law was based on The Torah and is further confirmation that the Celts are Israelites."
"There is a theory that the Celts are descended from one of the ten lost tribes of Israel..."
"There is a theory that the Celts are descended from one of the ten lost tribes of Israel, the tribe of Dan."
"Proponents of this theory in historical essays and elsewhere point to various parallels between Irish and ancient Hebrew culture. For example, they note that the harp, the symbol of Ireland, also plays a role in Jewish history, as the musical instrument of King David.
Some maintain that the tribe of Dan, known for its seafaring, conducted sea voyages to Ireland and colonized it as early as the period of the Judges in the 7th century BC under the name Tuatha Dé Danann.
Scholar Janet Moser writes: "There are certain facts that suggest that the Celts might have derived from a Jewish tradition from the East. The Celtic body of ecclesiastical and civil knowledge was Druidism. Their system can be traced to about 1800 B.C...”
In 'The Psalter of Cashel' an ancient text written by Saint Cormac it states that: 'The Tuatha de Danaan' ruled in Ireland for about two centuries, and were highly skilled in architecture and other arts from their long residence in Greece.'
The Tuatha de Danaan were the descendants of Danaus, the son of Belus, who went with his fifty daughters to Argos, the home of his ancestor Io. In Irish legends the Tuatha de Danaan, who were considered to "be demi-gods, ... were said to have possessed a ... Grail-like vessel ... These teachers of wisdom ... were the founders of the Druidic priesthood." "
The Return Of The King:
"British Royal 'to become family's first member to make state visit to Israel later this year' "
"The major themes of Kings are God's promise, the recurrent apostasy of the kings, and the judgement this brings on Israel:
- Promise: In return for Israel's promise to worship Yahweh alone, Yahweh makes promises to David and to Israel – to David, the promise that his line will rule Israel forever, to Israel, the promise of the land they will possess.
- Apostasy: the great tragedy of Israel's history, meaning the destruction of the kingdom and the Temple, is due to the failure of the people, but more especially the kings, to worship Yahweh alone (Yahweh being the god of Israel).
- Judgement: Apostasy leads to judgement. Judgement is not punishment, but simply the natural (or rather, God-ordained) consequence of Israel's failure to worship Yahweh alone.
Another and related theme is that of prophecy. The main point of the prophetic stories is that God's prophecies are always fulfilled, so that any not yet fulfilled will be so in the future. The implication, the release of Jehoiachin and his restoration to a place of honour in Babylon in the closing scenes of the book, is that the promise of an eternal Davidic dynasty is still in effect, and that the Davidic line will be restored."
