A Proper Gander At Propaganda

Truth Transcends Community

"Propaganda in the United States is spread by both government and media entities. Propaganda is information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to influence opinions. It's used in advertising, radio, newspaper, posters, books, television, and other media."  -  Propaganda in the United States - Wikipedia

The Military Social Media Noise Machine Slams Into The Alt Right Crowd

(Please excuse inevitable typo. Autocorrect is an evil imp with vocabulary of its own.)

Are you ready to march to defend your favorite political underdog from the "Man"?

Grab your torches, clubs and rotting fruit, get on a bus and come to us, we need your help, the barbarians are pulling down our favorite statue to some old timey clown. Grab your smart phone chargers and maybe even get into a Dodge produced product and head on down south to the land of Washington D.C. and come on over to protest the removal of the General E. Lee, a statue, an idol and icon to days long gone. It's a shame that I can't shed a tear as I am filled with duping delight, as I stand here before you on this tragic night...

It's An Old Crowd Pleasing And Mind Diseasing Confidence Pied Piper Trick

"Torches of Freedom" was a phrase used to encourage women's smoking by exploiting women's aspirations for a better life during the women's liberation movement  in the United States. Cigarettes were described as symbols of emancipation and equality with men. The term was first used by psychoanalyst A. A. Brill when describing the natural desire for women to smoke and was used by Edward Bernays to encourage women to smoke in public despite social taboos. Bernays hired women to march while smoking their “torches of freedom” in the Easter Sunday Parade of 1929 which was a significant moment for fighting social barriers for women smokers.

CHAPTER I  ORGANIZING CHAOS

"THE conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. Our invisible governors are, in many cases, unaware of the identity of their fellow members in the inner cabinet. They govern us by their qualities of natural leadership, their ability to supply needed ideas and by their key position in the social structure. Whatever attitude one chooses to take toward this condition, it remains a fact that in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons—a trifling fraction of our hundred and twenty million—who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind, who harness old social forces and contrive new ways to bind and guide the world.

Who are the real minions? The police force or naive (and perhaps not so naive) protestors?

Unite the right and leave out the left. Endless media promoted Divide and Conquer noise is a Washington DC  fevered dream turned Hollywood fueled nightmare. The military admits to being really into social media. The Charlottesville incident took place in spook-land. Virginia is CIA land.  Let's call it Milli-wood. We know that there is a Defense Information School and we know these military minds work the social media battlefield online. It's probably a safe assumption to guess that such military trained media agents lurk online and off, tasked with the mission of various divide and conquer tactics to reinforce. Protesting is media hyped behavior that allows for like minded folk to hang out and make each other feel good. It also allows for those opposed to such ideas to get together and do the same. This allows for a third option that governmentally inclined minds have long taken advantage of. Nothing like trying to incite violence, turn a peaceful protest into a riot. A governmental employed minion wouldn't shout at the police or attempt to do anything as impolite as that, would they? A minion couldn't possibly work with the police in hired crisis actor like fashion, could they?

Minions Crash Crowd.jpg

see: The Department of Defense, Social Media & You for how our tax dollars are spent on Militray social media efforts.

Who are the real minions them or us?

Could duped witnesses really believe hearsay and media accounts without thinking? Do innocent minds really buy into hearsay accounts and ignore the possibility of live action, role playing, political events in favor of an obvious biased perception that is clearly part of the Military media divide and conquer show? Do actual security clearance given, military contracted minions lurk online waiting and biding their time to emotionally reinforce the idea that obviously politically contrived protests matter, or that fake events are real? Do such minions lurk about to reinforce the idea that even if such events are real that we should turn mountains into useless molehills? Who is calling for violence response and who is calling for even more government? Sounds to me like all political divided sides have faith that government needs to exist in the first place, and this is the exact idea that the Military minion would seek to spread like a virus. How important is a statue anyway and is this really a national concern? Who has been pushing the idea that anyone should care about an idol and icon in the first place? A lot of us doubt historical record, so why should we really care either way if some city decides to take a mythic statue down. It's a local issue best left to local minds. But the federal government relies on turning such minute conflicts into poetical and political land mines; the crisis, problematic reaction, solution, revolution, turns human being into politically and emotionally driven drones. Don't people realize that they should leave each other alone? The News media promotes a mind the other guy's business kind of mentality that allows for ever growing cancerous government, with all of its taxes, fees, fines and jail time for adult behavior choices. The fate of a statue is nothing compared to having one's freedom stripped away over personal behavior choices. This entire media promoted event is allowed to be nationally and internationally broadcast because it plays into the memes the governments of the world, want "everyone" thinking about. Its part of a divide and conquer, distraction noise machine agenda meant to drown out logical thought.

We are supposed to take sides in a fight that doesn't even concern us. It's a local issue as to when or if a statue is taken down. It is not a national issue that needs the alt right and the alt left to rush from all over the world like Grateful Deadheads to follow political pied pipes like the proverbial and cliched sheep that they act exactly like.

We are supposed to believe in media promoted historical myths about how the hippies ended Vietnam when the fact is that scripted farce ended when it was scheduled to and not a moment sooner. Too many of us seem to buy into the media promoted idea that we should attend political rallies and that these gatherings can effect real change. People are not supposed to know a thing about crowd psychology and the work of people like Edward Bernays. People aren't supposed to study religions as control mechanisms no different in reality from government itself. One is mandatory one is voluntary. One has crimes one has sin. One has tithing one has taxes. Both make liberal use of social shepherd persona over rational discourse. Emotional appeals have always been used to steer the mass public into new behavior patterns designed to drive continued commercial enterprise and industry. Governments exist to organize humanity into more easily controlled markets and workforces.

Police Represent The State: Protests Do Not Work Anyway

They have to follow their orders. Trying to argue with a police officer is pointless. Save it for the courts. Giving our fellow human beings a hard time because they are doing their jobs is a juvenile and counter productive endeavor. Further, it is also likely to piss them off and they will then respond emotionally like all human beings tend to do; they have weapons and wagons and the full power of the law on their side. If you want to fight the system, fight that in court or perhaps by starting a blog or Youtube channel to spread the word., better still work locally to effect change you can confirm, if you want to change things. Yelling at the police is a childish and useless action that the mainstream media has programmed into human behavior. When has any protest done any good at all? Maybe some have, but I'd wager they were local in nature. And when does pissing the people with the weapons and handcuffs and power of the law behind them, work out? Protests are wastes of time that seem contrived to get us to fight each other. At the very least the protest furthers a divided and conquered mentality and that only helps government retain the kind of near complete hold it has over human imagination and maturity. Despite the fact that the police work for the system (like we all really do), they are not the enemy any more so than the lying politician, on air News talent or social media shepherd is. The problem is not our fellow human beings, no matter occupation or social position. The problem is a combination of the easily malleable mass public mind and an inhuman system of governance that has been allowed to grow past all limits of demonstrable reason. In the  land of the taxed and home of the eternally afraid, "Freedom" is mere marketing slogan.

Here is some footage form the Charlottesville Virginia event. Keep in mind Virginia is near Washington DC, the CIA recruits from the university here and the entire area is Military Industrial Spy-Land. This isn't happening in Bumfart Buffalo. Keep in mind too, that the Military has a long history of outdoor style deceptive theater.

CHAPTER IV
THE PSYCHOLOGY OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

"The systematic study of mass psychology revealed to students the potentialities of invisible government of society by manipulation of the motives which actuate man in the group. Trotter and Le Bon, who approached the subject in a scientific manner, and Graham Wallas, Walter Lippmann and others who continued with searching studies of the group mind, established that the group has mental characteristics distinct from those of the individual, and is motivated by impulses and emotions which cannot be explained on the basis of what we know of individual psychology. So the question naturally arose: If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, is it not possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing it?

It Wasn't Fair! Oh My All The Injustice!

SOCIAL WARRIORS UNITE AND FIGHT!

Old time Hollywood celebrities would make a killing selling war bonds back during World War One. Hollywood and the Military Industrial Complex are one and the same in many real and historically supported ways. New online social media takes the place of old as Marshall McLuhan 's old story goes. Emotional appeals to right and wrong are part of scripted pulp fiction Superman and Captain America do-gooder myth. Get your torches out, march on Charlottesville, try to hang the bad guys by their toes and get emotionally attached to a statue that you have never seen. Worry about some great injustice happening in some other state or on another continent, or even perhaps above your head in outer space, but whatever you do, do not attempt to cross the politically forced cultural divide to take your brother or sister's hand to together locally attempt to change a political or social paradigm. The National News is designed to get us to keep our eyes off the ball of local and more verifiable concern. We have to believe we need to send all that money to places like state capitals and Washington D.C., after all.

The Police Force Exists To Serve And Protect The State and Its Interests Not You and Yours

You are probably barking up the wrong proverbial banana republic tree if you think otherwise. Giving these uniformed people a hard time is a waste of your time and could lead you to wasting even more time getting yourself out of legal trouble. Do not give the servants of the state a hard time. These men and women are backed with the power of the law. You are not as free as you think you are. Things do not really quite work as government and media advertise. Freedom ain't free and comes with tax based strings attached. You exist to serve the system, the system is not yours and does not exist to serve you. If you live in the area and care about what happens in your parks you have to get involved at that level. You have to do all the real difficult and time consuming and largely thankless, political work of getting and organizing support for your idea. You do not get anywhere playing political protestor for the cameras and subsequent media blitz. You do not help your perceived "side" by yelling at the police about what you think is some kind of injustice. This seems childish and useless. This kind of behavior is not something one should really want to emulate and seems to be the behavior of an agent provocateur.

Political crowd control is an old art.

Contrived political events with controlled opposition leaders is an old confidence trick. The same old song and dance remains insanely the same.

"An agent provocateur (French for "inciting agent") is a person who commits, or who acts to entice another person to commit an illegal or rash act or falsely implicate them in partaking in an illegal act. An agent provocateur may be acting out of their own sense of duty or may be employed by the police or other entity to discredit or harm another group (such as a peaceful protest or demonstration) by provoking them to commit a crime, thereby undermining the protest or demonstration as a whole. In accordance with French grammar, the plural form of the term is, agents provocateurs; a female agent is an agent provocatrice. To prevent infiltration by agents provocateurs, the organizers of large or controversial assemblies may deploy and coordinate demonstration marshals, also called stewards." "

Welcome Back My Friend To The Show That Never Ends, It's Online, Selling Lies All The Time

"It is not usually realized how necessary these invisible governors are to the orderly functioning of our group life. In theory, every citizen may vote for whom he pleases. Our Constitution does not envisage political parties as part of the mechanism of government, and its framers seem not to have pictured to themselves the existence in our national politics of anything like the modern political machine. But the American voters soon found that without organization and direction their individual votes, cast, perhaps, for dozens or hundreds of candidates, would produce nothing but confusion. Invisible government, in the shape of rudimentary political parties, arose almost overnight. Ever since then we have agreed, for the sake of simplicity and practicality, that party machines should narrow down the field of choice to two candidates, or at most three or four. In theory, every citizen makes up his mind on public questions and matters of private conduct. In practice, if all men had to study for themselves the abstruse economic, political, and ethical data involved in every question, they would find it impossible to come to a conclusion about anything. We have voluntarily agreed to let an invisible government sift the data and high-spot the outstanding issues so that our field of choice shall be narrowed to practical proportions. From our leaders and the media they use to reach the public, we accept the evidence and the demarcation of issues bearing upon public questions; from some ethical teacher, be it a minister, a favorite essayist, or merely prevailing opinion, we accept a standardized code of social conduct to which we conform most of the time. An Interesting Interview With Someone Who Apparently Went To The Charlotte Event

Andy Nowicki on the Charlottesville Event  source: thkelly67

"Published on Aug 20, 2017 Andy Nowicki returns to Our Interesting Times to discuss the Charlottesville protests and their aftermath. Andy shares his eyewitness account of the demonstration and we talk about the mainstream media's biased coverage of the event. We also discuss the apparent police stand-down and evidence that the violence that broke out was deliberately created to agitate and smear critics of the current campaign to remove Confederate monuments as hateful and violent extremists. Andy is the author of eight books including Conspiracy, Compliance, Control & Defiance: a primer on what is, and what is to be done and the assistant editor of Alternative Right. He is also the host of the Namelesss Podcast."

Everyone, Not Just The Alt Right, Is Being Manipulated By The Use of Yellow Journal Appeals To Emotion

Tabloid Journalism Is Logically Fallacious By Definition

The News and even online podcasters have a tendency to engage in all sorts of emotion appeals rather than focusing on facts and realities. The facts and reality here has little do do with whether or not this particular event was a publicity stunt, with actual Hollywood live action stunt choreography, and has everything to do with public perception and behavior management. Washington DC means divide and conquer. This event took place not far from the Nation's capital. This event took place in spook land. This is the home state to plenty of federal governmental resources. It also seems to be pretty clear that the event organizers are part of controlled oppositional show, rumors claim the alt right protest organizer was once a Wall Street occupying Obama supporting kind of guy. Whether that is true or not matters little as we can easily look and see how the mainstream News media gave this event more free airtime than anyone could wish for. This story is clearly not worthy of national news attention, but so many of us are so sick with governmental mind virus we do not see that otherwise obvious fact Too many of us ignore the real "we" for the marketed "we the people" slogan of national pride. Alt right, alt left, mainstream right and left and all the rest in between, as long as you buy into false political divides and let's hate the cops and the other guy mentality, you are playing into the hands of the system. If you go to political rallies instead of focusing on what to ask from government, you are missing the point and you are playing the game on the system's battlefield. If you lived in the area and cared about a statue you might consider how emotional your response should really be about losing what is more than likely just another image of a cartoon mascot. I know, most of these people probably really believe that Trump is going to really try to change things in order to save the world, so they are attached to mythic heroes of ages past. The political right is no less deluded than the political left, "alt" or not so "alt". All political sides, have the same "ask not" kind of leaders, with their officially sanctioned poisonous snake oil product, to follow.

A Yellow Journal Mind Virus Is Spreading Online

Please watch these videos and take notice of the appeals to the underdog vs the system, the divide and conquer, us vs them mentality with regards to the police, who by the way, have the power of the law and weaponry on their side. On the so-called political "left", Democratic voters are being encouraged to hate and despise their fellow human beings who happened to vote for Trump. Is any of this how adult human beings really should act? The News media and controlled opposition leadership sure seem dead set on dumbing people down to a childish level where they will believe anything their valued and trusted leaders tell them, Edward Bernays would be in his glory this is all (alt) right up his alley.

Follow The Teleprompter Reader & Hotel Greeter

There are all types of media leaders. Presidents, social media pod casters and of course mainstream media news casters and comedians. All of these shepherds are meant to effect human reason. These cult like leaders are employed and only exist to define the bounds of your imagination for you. These are the minds that most look to for their ideas. Most seem content with hand me down thinking. You are supposed to model your own behavior after these social shepherds. If they act in a childish manner so should you. If they act in a way that would needlessly land them in jail, so should you.

Lame Satire Promotes Governmental An Obvious Controlled Oppositional  Divide And Conquer Strategy

This is what passes for intelligent and humorous, mainstream politically left jokes about what was supposed to be a very real and horrific event. Trump spent over a decade working for the same NBC these people work for and in fact hosted the show at the beginning of his campaign for President. SNL gave him free airtime, imagine that! Saturday Night Live is a very old late night show that appears to appeal to the young. This culturally influential show is broadcast from propaganda capital Rockefeller center. This show is obviously a political public relations operation, targeting young high school and college age minds, that relies on reinforcing democratic mainstream memes. The juvenile humor is obviously contrived to further the political and cultural divide and this something Saturday Night Live has done for decades. Trump and his fellow NBC cast mates are all part of the scripted military industrial show and so are alt right media figures like Alex Jones. The same setup holds true for the alt and mainstream left as well. All major personas are propaganda puppets used by scripted system to get you to have faith in government, whether from the left wing or the right wing. You are not supposed to notice the real non partisan and inhuman agenda of government. You are not supposed to notice none of the elected politicians work for you. You are not supposed to pay attention to the details of the bills signed into law. You are supposed to ignore binding legal text and governmental fine print in favor of endless News media promoted political spectacle,

More yellow journal underdog appeals.

#3 on Trending Weekend Update: Tina Fey on Protesting After Charlottesville - SNL  source:   Saturday Night Live

Mocking Donald Trump's Name Is Obviously Irrelevant

Tina Fey is talented like the rest of these performers. Here she is going for the low hanging fruit of our culturally divided banana republic. The media loves Hitler and Nazis and once again we get the inevitable and obvious Neo-Nazi reference. Yet we must ignore the historical record and the fact that Nazis are as much a Wall Street creation as Rockefeller Center, NBC and SNL. The idea here is to push the meme of the crazed alt right conspiracy Alex Jones associated "militia" crowd. White supremacist leaders seem to me to be obvious controlled mascot characters kept around to keep dreams of a bogeyman shadow Hitler alive in the minds of the mass public. Tina Fey is also reinforcing the idea that there is nothing Democrat voters and liberals, women and black people can do about Trump, so they had better get used to being driven crazy. After all Hillary won the popular vote but lost to Trump anyway, and "We" all lost out that day. Remember the News and social media Pied Piping women protesting march after Trumps electoral upset? Social shepherds, especially Hollywood hyped ones, have always gotten the mass to march off and follow all sorts of leaders on wild, global,  enterprising rides of the imagination.

Tina Fey is also pushing the idea that Trump voters are crazy racists who cannot be reasoned with. This entire bit does what Saturday Night Live has always done, it further makes it seem like these highly profiled News events matter on a National level. This reinforces the dual winged, highly contrived, national identity of "America" that many of us seem to refuse to shed. Political party divides are as fake as sports teams and nation states. These identity products exists so we accept the social structure of the societies we live in.

Pepe The Frog

"During the 2016 United States presidential election, the meme was connected to Donald Trump's campaign. In October 2015, Donald Trump retweeted a Pepe representation of himself, associated with a video called "You Can't Stump the Trump (Volume 4)".[3][15] Later in the election, Roger Stone and Donald Trump Jr. posted a parody movie poster of The Expendables on Twitter and Instagram titled "The Deplorables", a play of Hillary Clinton's controversial phrase, basket of deplorables, which included Pepe's face among those of members of the Trump family and other figures popular among the alt-right.""Pepe the Frog /pɛpeɪ/ is a popular Internet meme. The green anthropomorphic frog with a frog-like face and a humanoid body is originally from a comic series by Matt Furie called Boy's Club. It became an Internet meme when its popularity steadily grew across Myspace, Gaia Online and 4chan in 2008. By 2015, it had become one of the most popular memes used on 4chan.

Beginning in 2015, the character's image has been appropriated as a symbol of the controversial alt-right movement. The Anti-Defamation League added Pepe the Frog to their database of hate symbols in 2016, adding that not all Pepe memes are racist. Since then, Pepe's creator has publicly expressed his dismay at Pepe being used as a hate symbol."

Every Day Huffington Post Pumps Out Fear Porn: Trump Is Going To Eat Your Children!

...and other tall tales about the "insane" alt right.

Here we have Huff Po promoting counter (useless for real change) protests to further the (useful for government) same old politcail divide and conquer strategy.

Statues and symbols matter more to most people than actually really trying to get the system to work for humanity. In this manner we stay collectively dumbed down and forever enslaved to a very real global, inhuman system of ever growing government. Symbols and statues are social constructs and only matter if you think they do. They have no real power otherwise. This entire mainstream and social media promoted narrative is clearly going to do nothing to change anything that actually matters. We've had decades of media promoted protests to look back on to see how useless and stupid all of this protesting actually is. There are better ways to spread ideas, in our age of global connectivity, you'd think these political leaders would realize they could simply stage stay at home from work style, virtual protests. Spreading ideas by way of social media itself is probably more effective than protesting. Getting involved with local issues that you can confirm is also a better more effective way to go and this is why the media promotes news stories that you can not confirm for yourself and that you can do nothing about. You do have a much better chance trying to effect local change if you are actually willing to do the work instead of shaking a sign and fist in the air for an afternoon. Going to a protest is like attending a series of endless and continuous Grateful Dead shows instead of learning how to play an instrument for yourself. One way is easy and you can feel good living vicariously through on stage performance or you can actually spend a lot of time and effort actually doing something real.

Here's Some Confused Historical Mythical & Political Context To Add To The Mix

This is a local issue. I am just posting this to provide some media context. It would seem that the general was not the black and white kind of racist guy one might be inclined to think he was. This adds an interesting dimension to this particular narrative. I think it absurd to worry about what a park in some city far away does with a statue. This is none of anyone's concern but the locals.

"Robert E. Lee, on the other hand, is a more complicated case. He was no great friend of slavery. He wrote in a letter to his wife that “slavery as an institution, is a moral political evil in any Country” (he added, shamefully, that it was good for blacks — “the painful discipline they are undergoing, is necessary for their instruction as a race”).

After the war, he accepted defeat and did his part to promote national healing. Yet, faced with a momentous choice at the start of the war, he decided he was a Virginia patriot rather than an American nationalist. He told one of President Abraham Lincoln’s advisers, “I look upon secession as anarchy. If I owned the 4 million slaves in the South I would sacrifice them all to the Union; but how can I draw my sword upon Virginia, my native state?” He betrayed the US government and fought on the side devoted to preserving chattel slavery. That is a grievous political sin, although he obviously wasn’t the only one guilty of it. The Civil War was an American conflict, with Americans on both sides. An honorable soldier, Lee is an apt symbol for the Confederate rank and file whose sacrifices in the war’s charnel house shouldn’t be flushed down the memory hole."
