Deux Ex 2000 Predicts 9-11: Pictures at 12!

Never Forget 9-11: Only Controlled Demolition or An Act of A Very Real God, Could Bring The Twin Towers Down

"The myth. This myth is pretty straightforward. When you’re playing Deus Ex, you’ll be set on several missions. You will be sent into missions in Liberty City, and here, if you check out New York City in the background, you’ll notice something rather conspicuous: The World Trade Center towers are missing. The official explanation given in the game is that the towers were taken out by a terrorist attack. A mere year later, the Twin Towers were indeed destroyed by terrorists in the infamous 9/11 tragedy."

FYI: The 1993 Attack Was A Test Run For 2001 Things To Come

The idea of the towers being twin targets goes back to at least 1993.

Four Twenty Nineteen Ninety Nine, Hitler's Birthday Party & A First Person Library Shooting in Columbine

"The massacre sparked debate over gun control laws, high school cliques, subcultures, and bullying. It resulted in an increased emphasis on school security with zero tolerance policies, and a moral panic over goth culture, gun culture, social outcasts (even though the perpetrators were not outcasts), the use of pharmaceutical anti-depressants by teenagers, teenage Internet use, and violence in video games."

"As the shooting unfolded, Patti Nielson talked on the phone with emergency services, telling her story and urging students to take cover beneath desks.[16] According to transcripts, her call was received by a 9-1-1 operator at 11:25:05 a.m. The time between the call being answered and the shooters entering the library was four minutes and ten seconds. Before entering, the shooters threw two bombs into the cafeteria, both of which exploded. They then threw another bomb into the Library Hallway; it exploded and damaged several lockers. At 11:29 a.m., Harris and Klebold entered the library, where a total of 52 students, two teachers and two librarians had concealed themselves. Harris yelled, "Get up!" so loudly that he can be heard on Patti Nielson's 9-1-1 recording at 11:29:18. Staff and students hiding in the library exterior rooms later said they also heard the gunmen say: "All jocks stand up! We'll get the guys in white hats!" (Wearing a white baseball cap at Columbine was a tradition among sports team members, typically jocks.)  When no one stood up in response, Harris said, "Fine, I'll start shooting anyway!" He fired his shotgun twice at a desk, not knowing that a student named Evan Todd was hiding beneath it. Todd was hit by wood splinters but was not seriously injured. The shooters walked to the opposite side of the library, to two rows of computers. Todd hid behind the administrative counter. Kyle Velasquez, 16, was sitting at the north row of computers; police later said he had not hidden underneath the desk when Klebold and Harris had first entered the library, but had curled up under the computer table. Klebold shot and killed Velasquez, hitting him in the head and back. Klebold and Harris put down their ammunition-filled duffel bags at the south—or lower—row of computers and reloaded their weapons. They walked back toward the windows facing the outside staircase. Noticing police evacuating students outside the school, Harris said: "Let's go kill some cops." He and Klebold began to shoot out the windows in the direction of the police. Officers returned fire, and Harris and Klebold retreated from the windows; no one was injured."

By the way, Conan didn't predict anything as school shootings were making headlines in the 1990's.

For example, September 11, 1990:

"September 11, 1990 San Antonio, Texas. 3 students were wounded when gunfire broke out at Sam Houston High School. The incident took place at 11:55 a.m. and was gang related. 17-year-old John Campbell was wounded in the right foot, 18-year-old Larry Johnson was wounded in the right thigh and calf, and a 16-year-old received a chest wound. 18-year-old Kenneth Wolford, and two other male students were arrested and charged."

Never Forget September 11, 1941, A day that will live on in infamy.

The Pentagon would become a titanic office complex seemingly devoted to huge Military Industrial engineering and large scale theatrical projects.

"The Pentagon is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense, located in ... Ground was broken for construction on September 11, 1941, and the building was dedicated on January 15, 1943. .... with initial drawings provided in early October 1941, and most of the design work completed by June 1, 1942."

Deus Ex Machina

"1690s, from Modern Latin translation of Greek apo mekhanes theos, literally "the god from the machina," the device by which "gods" were suspended over the stage in Greek theater, from Greek (Attic) mekhane "device," from PIE *magh-ana- "that which enables," from root *magh- "to be able, have power." The fem. is dea ex machina."

deus ex machina (n.) - Online Etymology Dictionary

A Deus Ex Machina Indeed

"The myth. This myth is pretty straightforward. When you’re playing Deus Ex, you’ll be set on several missions. You will be sent into missions in Liberty City, and here, if you check out New York City in the background, you’ll notice something rather conspicuous: The World Trade Center towers are missing." "The official explanation given in the game is that the towers were taken out by a terrorist attack. A mere year later, the Twin Towers were indeed destroyed by terrorists in the infamous 9/11 tragedy. People quickly pointed to Deus Ex thus predicting the future and began wondering how much more it would accurately predict. Myth or fact? This one is just a myth. While it is true that in the game, which was released in 2000, you cannot see the World Trade Center towers when viewing the New York City skyline, and it is explained that they were taken out in a terrorist attack, it was merely coincidence. In fact, Deus Ex wasn’t the only piece of media to predict the attack. Various shows, such as X-Files and Simpsons to name two also mentioned such a thing. The true reason that you cannot find the Twin Towers in the game is merely due to the engine’s limitation at the time; The developers simply could not fit the towers in, as they were forced to crop the skyline in order to fit within these limitations. Those still claiming that it had to have simply predicted this attack may also have forgotten that the World Trade Center was a target even before 9/11. Back in 1993, for instance, there was an attack in which terrorists parked a rental van in a garage underneath the towers and lit the fuses on a massive bomb. This attack could have easily inspired the idea that the World Trade Center would eventually be destroyed by a terrorist organization, as the game itself explains."

Ion Stormtrooping Fun

"Deus Ex (Latin pronunciation: [ˈde.ʊs ɛks]) is a 2000 action role-playing video game developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos Interactive. Set in a cyberpunk-themed dystopian world in the year 2052, the story follows JC Denton, an anti-terrorist agent given superhuman abilities by nanotechnology, as he sets out to combat hostile forces in a world ravaged by inequality and a deadly plague. His missions entangle him in a conspiracy that brings him into conflict with the Triad, Majestic 12, and the Illuminati.

Deus Ex's gameplay combines elements of the first-person shooter with stealth elements, adventure, and role-playing genres, allowing for its tasks and missions to be completed in a variety of ways, that in turn lead to differing outcomes. Presented from the first-person perspective, the player can customize Denton's various abilities such as weapon skills or lockpicking, increasing his effectiveness in these areas; this opens up different avenues of exploration and methods of interacting with or manipulating other characters. The player is able to complete side missions away from the primary storyline by moving freely around the available areas, which can reward the player with experience points to upgrade abilities and alternative ways to tackle main missions.

The game was first released for Microsoft Windows in June 2000, with a Mac OS port following the next month. A modified version of the game was released later for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. In the years following its release, Deus Ex has received additional improvements and content from its fan community.

The game received critical acclaim, including repeatedly being named "Best PC Game of All Time" in PC Gamer's "Top 100 PC Games" in 2011 and in a poll carried out by the UK gaming magazine PC Zone. It was a frequent candidate for and winner of Game of the Year awards, drawing praise for its pioneering designs in player choice and multiple narrative paths. It has sold more than 1 million copies, as of April 23, 2009. The game has spawned both a sequel, Deus Ex: Invisible War, released in 2003, and three prequels: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, released in 2011, Deus Ex: The Fall, released in 2013, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, released in 2016."

Do You Want To Play A Game?

"While each game has a distinct story, they are all set within the same world: an Earth of the future which has evolved a dystopian, cyberpunk society. In this setting, several organizations compete for overall control of the world.[3] Several of the societies mentioned or shown are inspired by real-world and invented secret societies and conspiracy theories. The one constant through the series is the Illuminati, although FEMA, Majestic 12, and the Knights Templar are also featured. The main characters in the series possess artificially acquired superhuman abilities, generally referred to as "Augmentation", and more specifically called "Human augmentation" in the third game.

Deus Ex takes place during 2052,[4] while the world is facing a crisis caused by a mysterious nano-virus called the Gray Death. In the midst of the crisis, JC Denton, a nano-augmented rookie agent for the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition (UNATCO), is sent to eliminate terrorist cells, but ends up drawn into the various schemes of rival factions and secret societies, who are responsible for the epidemic. Once he arrives in Area 51, Denton has the choice between neutralizing technology and plunging the world into a second dark age,[5] allying with the Illuminati,[6] or merging with an advanced AI so as to impose a benevolent dictatorship.[7] Invisible War takes place twenty years later, after a massive economic depression and period of war called the Collapse[8] that was indicated by Denton's actions and a combination of possible events from the first game.[9] The game's protagonist, Alex D, a clone of Denton, is drawn into a conflict between two seemingly opposing factions, and learns of conspiratorial factions which seek to drastically change the world, including JC Denton: Alex can perform missions for any of them, and eventually becomes able to choose which organization should rule the world.

Human Revolution is set in 2027, twenty-five years before the first title, where corporations have extended their influence past the reach of global governments and the development of bio-mechanical augmentation by a few elite and powerful companies threatens to destabilize society."

The Power of News Media Contagion Might Be Exaggerated But It Is Something to Consider

The problem is not the video games, guns or any of the other mainstream media scapegoats. The true source of terror and images of violent crime is the News media itself.

I don't know how true fast media contagion really is or isn't. What I do know is that real effective social change takes time and is a generational process. I think the more likely explanation and the more plausible one is that these events are scripted and contrived and that the slew of stories about cars crashing into crowds and school shootings, ISIS terrorism and the rest, are part of the fabricated military industrial cultural con job, creation, multimedia mechanism, our taxes pay for. I think ideas about magical and perhaps divine coincidence and other apologetics exist to distract from the obvious explanation. This is why I think that the media puts the idea that they are the source of contagion out there and why they then proceed to do nothing about it. The News media journalists are the true terrorists. Real contagion takes time. It's possible and likely the media promoted violence does cause real people to do stupid things, I just think the media is less likely to make a huge deal out of those stories and I also think that those stories would happen to make more sense and would hold up to scrutiny, unlike so many of the media narratives where we are left with more questions than answers and a News media not interested in addressing the proverbial naked emperor elephant in the room.

ABRACADABRA: ABRAXAS ABRAHADABRA

"Abraxas (Gk. ΑΒΡΑΞΑΣ, variant form Abrasax, ΑΒΡΑΣΑΞ) was a word of mystic meaning in the system of the Gnostic Basilides, being there applied to the "Great Archon" (Gk., megas archōn), the princeps of the 365 spheres (Gk., ouranoi).[1] The word is found in Gnostic texts such as the Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit, and also appears in the Greek Magical Papyri. It was engraved on certain antique gemstones, called on that account Abraxas stones, which were used as amulets or charms.[2] As the initial spelling on stones was 'Abrasax' (Αβρασαξ), the spelling of 'Abraxas' seen today probably originates in the confusion made between the Greek letters Sigma and Xi in the Latin transliteration.

The seven letters spelling its name may represent each of the seven classic planets. The word may be related to Abracadabra, although other explanations exist.

There are similarities and differences between such figures in reports about Basilides's teaching, ancient Gnostic texts, the larger Greco-Roman magical traditions, and modern magical and esoteric writings. Opinions abound on Abraxas, who in recent centuries has been claimed to be both an Egyptian god and a demon.[4] The Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung transcribed a short Gnostic treatise in 1916, attributed to Basilides in Alexandria called The Seven Sermons to the Dead, which called Abraxas the supreme power of being transcending both God and the Devil and unites all opposites into one Being."
