A Proper Gander At Propaganda

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a conspiracy theory blog.

This website exists to serve as public resource for reverse imagineering world-wide culture, one that takes a critical look at the numerous artifacts and other types of relics that represent our shared collective international heritage. This blog is dedicated to examining social engineering and the use of tax funded governmental propaganda, and the mainstream media, as international human resource management tools.

About The AA Morris Proper Gander At Propaganda Podcast: Coming to you from one of the suburban metropolitan melting pots of international culture, outside of one of the multimedia capitals of the world, New York City, the Proper Gander at Propaganda podcast is meant to be a filter free look at our shared international cultural heritage, our shared social media infused and obsessed present, and what our children and their children could be looking forward to. This link will bring you to the podcast page of this website, with embedded squarespace audio: link: http://www.aamorris.net/podcast/

Real Time CGI Effects

A motion tracked hand can make a 3d model move. When combined and composited with real time cgi fluid simulations and the original video signal, we can see how they can fake water clinging to the hands of "zero gravity" astronauts.

Real Time Effects

"FleX is a unified particle physics framework that can be used for all kinds of real-time simulations for all object types: rigid- and soft-bodies as well as fluids and gases. It utilizes the power of CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs and can do simulations with tens of thousands of particles in real-time. It's only natural to wonder whether FleX can produce results applicable not only for real-time, but also for high-precision simulation for animations and feature films"

mystery men term used for early comic book super heroes

"The event was widely covered by national and international news media."

"The Death of Superman" is a 1992 comic book storyline that occurred mostly in DC Comics' Superman titles. The completed multi-issue story arc was given the title The Death and Return of Superman. In the story, Superman engages in battle to stop a killing spree with an immensely powerful and seemingly unstoppable creature of unknown origin named Doomsday across the United States.[2] At the fight's conclusion, both combatants apparently die from their wounds in the streets of Metropolis in Superman (vol. 2) #75 in 1993. The crossover depicted the world's reaction to Superman's death in "Funeral for a Friend", the emergence of four individuals believed to be the "new" Superman, and the eventual return of the original Superman in "Reign of the Supermen!" The storyline, devised by editor Mike Carlin and the Superman writing team of Dan Jurgens, Roger Stern, Louise Simonson, Jerry Ordway and Karl Kesel, met with enormous success: the Superman titles gained international exposure, reaching to the top of the comics sales charts and selling out overnight. The event was widely covered by national and international news media. The storyline was loosely adapted into a 2007 animated film, Superman: Doomsday."

"The regeneration matrix eventually broke open, and the original Superman emerged, greatly depowered, but alive. Meanwhile, the Cyborg helped Mongul destroy Coast City, believing he killed the Last Son in the explosion, and captured Superboy, holding him in Engine City, a towering construct erected where Coast City once stood. Superboy escaped and flew back to Metropolis to get the Man of Steel to help him fight the Cyborg. Before he could tell the whole story, however, a giant Kryptonian Battlesuit rose out of the harbor and the two heroes attacked it. After suffering heavy damage, the suit opened, revealing a still-weak Superman, who had used it to walk all the way back from the Fortress of Solitude."

"In the manufacture of metal type used in letterpress printing, a matrix, from the Latin meaning womb or a female breeding animal, is the mould used to cast a letter, known as a sort. Matrices for printing types were made of copper. However, in printmaking the matrix is whatever is used, with ink, to hold the image that makes up the print, whether a plate in etching and engraving or a woodblock in woodcut."

1964: Scanning and Printing

"Topographic Mapmaking by Photo Scanning 1964 US Army; from R&D Progress Report No. 3"

"Advances in electronic technology in the 20th century ushered in another revolution in cartography. Ready availability of computers and peripherals such as monitors, plotters, printers, scanners (remote and document) and analytic stereo plotters, along with computer programs for visualization, image processing, spatial analysis, and database management, have democratized and greatly expanded the making of maps. The ability to superimpose spatially located variables onto existing maps created new uses for maps... These days most commercial-quality maps are made using software that falls into one of three main types: CAD, GIS and specialized illustration software. Spatial information can be stored in a database, from which it can be extracted on demand. These tools lead to increasingly dynamic, interactive maps that can be manipulated digitally."
